I rarely eat ice cream but this week I got it in my head that I had to have some. My husband picked me up some Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia and not the FroYo kind. I got the real stuff this time and it was oh so yummy.
Of course, I could never eat the entire thing in one sitting. It was so delicious but unfortunately it gave me a tummy ache. =(
Thanks for reading!

Pregnancy Weeks 5 Though 9: Symptoms and Cravings =)
Hey everyone!! I just recently started posting my weekly pregnancy vlogs and since I planned on doing a corresponding blog post I wanted to catch everyone up. These have been my symptoms and cravings from weeks 5 though 9.
Week 5
Cramps, even though I know I'm pregnant it makes me think my period is about to start.
Holy headache! It lasted all week!
Nausea
More tired than usual
Week 6
Symptoms:Still cramping with some tugging pinching pains, which I know is just my uterus stretching.
Morning sickness in full swing
Exhausted
My diet is ginger ale, lemon water, and ritz crackers.
Preggie Pop Drops are my new favorite things and are a definite pregnancy must have!
Week 7
Symptoms:
We had a viability ultrasound and our littlest nuggets heart beat was just beating away!!
Morning sickness still going strong.
I've been feeling exhausted. We had a viability ultrasound and our littlest nuggets heart beat was just beating away!!
Morning sickness still going strong.
I'm having trouble sleeping at night.
I constantly have the urge to pee.
This ultrasound was done at 7weeks and 3 days. He looks like he has glowing alien eyes and a tail. haha These early ultrasounds are so precious but so funny looking! =) I already love this little tiny human!
Week 8
Symptoms:Still feeling sick all day long, with about 2 to 3 hours of good time in the afternoon.
Exhausted and going to bed around 8:30 every night. I'm normally up until at least 10.
I've started napping when Declan naps, which is something I have never been able to do with either of my kids. I'm not a napper.
Week 9
Symptoms:My morning sickness is easing up a bit and I'm extremely grateful.
I'm still nauseas when I wake up but I'm doing better as long as I eat my ritz crackers before I get out of bed.
I'm feeling a tightening in my jaw, which I was told was due to the elastin getting your body ready to STRETCH.
The headache is back. I have a bit of a cold this week. Yuck!
Cravings:
Pomegranate seeds.
Strawberries (I craved fruit like a mad women my last pregnancy)
Pineapple
Parmesan Cheese ??? It must be the salt.
I wanted to catch everyone up on my symptoms and cravings since I found out I was pregnant. This pregnancy is very similar to my last but I'm wondering if it's just a coincidence or if it's because they were so close together. If you have a theory on that I would love to know. =)

Say What??
We had finally decided to put off having any more kids so that I could finish school. Being back in school full time and working on my goals has had me all excited for the last few weeks. We've been making plans for our future with our two boys, 4 years and 8 months.
This wasn't a decision that we made lightly. I wanted to have another baby before I was older but it was also really important for me to finish school. After a few weeks of being back and forth on the topic we made our decision and I made the appointment to have an IUD put in.
So yesterday at my appointment, they tell me I will need an annual and that I have to be counseled prior to receiving the IUD. Really, they couldn't have told me this before the appointment?! I had already been waiting 4 weeks to get in. I had to use the restroom and by chance the doctor walked by and said leave a urine sample just in case.
A few minutes later, here she comes with interesting news as she called it. "You're Pregnant." Say what? I've had no symptoms, other than being a bit nauseas but I thought it was because of a new medication I was taking that could cause that as a side effect. We were very "careful" last month because we knew I was getting the IUD in a few weeks.
I'm in shock! It took us over two years of actively trying with doctor intervention to conceive my 8 month old. I had been diagnosed with secondary infertility and told that I had a "hostile" uterus. I never thought in a million years I would get pregnant when I wasn't trying to.
My youngest two will be 15 months apart. Again, I'm shock!
We had a viability ultrasound at 7 weeks and our little nugget's heart was beating strong. I go back to the doctor at 10 weeks for another ultrasound and I'm extremely anxious waiting for this appointment to come!
I'm excited to be able to share this journey. The series will start after my 10 week appointment!
